Hi, I’m Sam, born in 1976 in Madras (now Chennai). I’ve lived almost all my life in this culturally rich, slow-paced, tolerant, hot and humid city. I live here with my wife, daughter, and dog, while my son is currently studying abroad. While I’m passionate about tech and open source, my interests extend beyond that—I follow Dalit politics, movies, music, and art. These pages will contain my unfiltered and simple reflections on these experiences. I work at Freshworks as a Sr. Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering & SRE.
